From software engineering, business informatics, and information technologies to business administration – in this Bachelor's programme, you acquire a broad range of skills. Your dual study programme begins with an introduction to the fundamentals of programming, software development, and business in the first two semesters. The courses during this period are structured full-time and include web development, business English, and data structures. This provides you with a broad spectrum of foundational knowledge to bring to your partner company because from the 3rd semester onwards, you will already be gaining professional experience. With us, you not only learn the subject areas of software engineering, business administration and management, business informatics, foreign languages and personal development, information technologies, and academic work but also acquire soft skills and language proficiency. Thus, nothing will stand in the way of your career start after graduation!
Through the dual organisational format, the question of studying OR working no longer arises, as both are now easily possible. From the third semester onwards, attendance at the university of applied sciences is limited to two days per week. The remaining time of the week is spent at a company, where the acquired knowledge is directly put into practice. FH CAMPUS 02 assists with establishing contacts and arranging training placements in participating partner companies.
The programme is organised in full-time format in collaboration with FH JOANNEUM and TU Graz during the first year. In the second and third years, training is conducted in a dual format, alternating between education and employment.
In the first and second semesters, the programme is organised as full-time study (Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00). From the third semester onwards, it switches to a dual study format with alternating theory and practical units (Theory sessions: Monday and Tuesday from 08:00 to 18:00, Practical periods: Wednesday to Friday at the company).
