Possible fields of work include data science, artificial intelligence, data analysis, data visualization, information visualization, software development, web development, database design and data modelling, consulting, business analysis and forecasting, performance analysis, statistics, and IT project management.
Our main focus is on providing you with a comprehensive and diverse education: The career-enabling Bachelor's programme in Business Analytics & AI equips you with a broad spectrum of knowledge in data science, artificial intelligence, computer science, and management. In addition to focusing on software engineering, statistics, and internet security, your education includes courses in soft skills and foreign languages. A distinctive feature is the opportunity to spend the 4th semester at our partner university in Zagreb to gain early international experience.
Through the career-enabling organisation, students can work up to 30 hours alongside their studies. If there is no relevant employment during the studies, an additional internship is undertaken in the 5th semester to ensure practical application during the course.
The programme is designed as a full-time study, structured with blocked lecture times held between Monday and Wednesday, allowing for employment. Additionally, each semester includes an intensive week.
Lectures take place on Mondays (8:00 –16:00) and Tuesdays as well as Wednesdays (13:45 –21:00). Within these time frames, the timetable is organised, and the number of hours and their distribution may vary in each semester. This allows for the possibility of employment for up to 30 hours per week.
