Captains
The captains play a special role in the automation technology network. They act as mentors and contact advisors for the students, as they come from successful companies in the automation industry.
Each year group is assigned a captain who strives to give the students an insight into their activities and share their experiences with the young technicians, as well as conveying team spirit and entrepreneurship to the students.
The following lists are intended to provide an insight into possible activities and to outline a rough framework.
The tasks of the Captains include:
- Holding a lecture and inviting a guest speaker.
- The one-time organization of a Captain's Dinner for their students, whereby the manner of organization is of course up to the Captain.
- Being available to students during office hours.
- Serving as a keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony for their class.
The benefits of the Captains include:
- The opportunity to initiate study projects and thus exploit student potential.
- The internet platform www.campus02.at as a forum available to the Captains.
- The "personal" contact or connection with the students and the companies in which they work.
- Contact with other Captains.
- The company presentation/advertising in the social media field.
- Representation of the company at the annual INNOVATION OF AUTOMATION
(The company names of the Captains listed may differ from the current ones, as this is historical data that was collected at the time the Captain joined the company. A company may therefore also appear with its previous company name)
