With our cooperation partner "Impulsregion Fürstenfeld", we are offering a total of 15 study places in the field of Automation Technology in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld region for the winter-semester 2024/2025. The majority of the courses will be held in Fürstenfeld in the first half of the programme and in Graz during the second half of the programme. This allows students to complete a significant portion of their studies close to their hometown.

What to expect from your studies

Focus bachelor's degree programme in Automation Technology

What you can expect from the degree programme? From the very first semester, you will fully immerse yourself in the fields of electronics, informatics and mechanical engineering. Alongside the technical fundamentals, you will also learn important soft skills such as communication, time management and presentation techniques. Each semester, you will take a course dedicated to the English language, ensuring that you can easily get along well in the international business world. Business know-how complements the overall education. A distinctive feature of this programme is the high proportion of elective courses. This versatility opens up impressive career opportunities and prospects. It is not necessary to be employed at the beginning or during the studies.

17 weeks/semester
Generally Fridays 13:45 to 21:30 o´clock and Saturdays 8:00 to 16:00 o´clock

Conditions

  • School-leaving certificate (Matura, A-Levels, maturity diploma, etc.)
  • or university entrance qualification exam
  • or a specialised professional qualification
    (apprenticeship, etc.) and additional examination by CAMPUS 02
    German language skills of at least B2 according to the CEFR

Main Focus

Students gain special knowledge in the fields of electronics, informatics and mechanical engineering. The studies are completed with skills related to economics and soft skills. Extensive content choices make up more than one-third of the studies. These include, for example, accompanying projects, subject-specific-specializations, and the professional internship. This enables students to develop an individual profile.

Projects and practice

The accompanying projects from the business world ensure that the knowledge learnt is immediately put into practice. Small group sizes of predominantly 3 people contribute significantly to quality and learning success.

Each class is assigned a specialist and/or executive form the industry as a mentor.
